We are off on a jungle boat ride to Laminai....another Mayan ruins! The boat ride was great, slowing here and there to view some birds, a crocodile, and the best.... feeding bananas to a bunch of spider monkeys. They were expecting us and climbed all over the boat and us!
At Lamanai, we were served a lunch of chicken, beans, and rice and then guided into the jungle to view the ruins and learn the story of their restoraton. I let Pam do the climb to the top the temple...60 some deep, steep, steps to the top! Then we had on opportunity to shop before a long boat ride back.... Good Day!
