Day6 1/3/2010

Sunday....A day of rest.

We must be bringing the cold south with us (you think?), it was 29 degrees here this morning in Natchez, Mississippi. The Dillons took us out to beakfast and then they took us on a tour of Natchez....past the beautiful southern mansions. Stopped and toured a mansion called Melrose that belongs to the National Park..... Original furnishings, etc. Lovely!

Spent the afternoon napping, reading, playing games on the computer. Visiting with Grace and Matt is so interesting... They have been RVers for ever and have been all over the States, Canada, Mexico, even caravaning in South Africa and Australia. So they have many tales to tell.
Pam has decided I need to be taking notes during the day because she says I am missing lots of details in my Blog.... So, soon you'll be hearing some from Pam!

signing off, the W.W.W.'s

  4. Great Blog, Fran! Don't worry about posting your knitting and navigating travails...I'm getting a great picture of the two of you on the road. As a matter of fact, keep the excitement level low, I want Pam coming back in one piece. looking forward to pics!
